The weather was inconsistent at best, OK, it was miserable but despite the challenges that mother nature dealt the loyal, amazing and let’s be honest somewhat crazy Canyon Springs family arrived ready to concur. The 2013 Canyon Springs Amateur was a great success. We had a great field with 92 players from all around the region. The competition was very strong this year with almost 50 players with 5 or less handicaps. The sponsors of the tournament again make it one of the best amateurs events in the state.
Just a quick update to let everyone know that we have been receiving a lot of new merchandise lately, stocking up for the 2013 season. We have received a large selection of clubs and putters from just about every club maker in the industry. New apparel from Nike and Puma, lots of new golf shoes
Conditions in the canyon are quite pleasant at the moment. A bit rainy and overcast at the moment but nothing you can’t handle. We have a wide open tee sheet, and yours truly in the golf shop. Come enjoy a round British Open style…
