Fruit Orchard to Golf

Canyon Springs Golf Course was a collaboration between local businessman Joe McCollum and Idaho entrepreneur J.R. Simplot.  Built in 1975 with nine holes, the eventual goal was to connect with Blue Lakes Country Club, crossing the river for a full 18-hole experience. Although the “golf bridge” never materialized, a second nine was added in 1987, creating an approachable, yet challenging golf course.

Stunning Views

The Perrine bridge, canyon walls, several waterfalls, and the Snake River punctuate each hole.  Today's Canyon Springs is a layered and engaging golf experience which invites play over and over.

Owned and operated by the McCollum family (now in its third generation of stewardship), Canyon Springs continues to provide an award-winning resource in the Magic Valley. Minutes away (and 500 feet below) busy Blue Lakes Boulevard, this riverside golf oasis is a fun retreat for golfers of any age or ability.
